The Mario Party franchise is a recurring series published by Nintendo. Starting on the Nintendo 64 in 1998, the following installments have featured on many different Nintendo platforms. While the Mario Party series has gone through various iterations over the years, the next game in the franchise, Mario Party Superstars, takes inspiration from some of the earliest games in the collection.Recently, Nintendo released a new trailer for Mario Party Superstars, giving fans a deeper look at what to expect from the upcoming game that features elements from existing games....

That being said, Mario Party Superstars is a game with a lot of potential for DLC. Nintendo might have a mixed record regarding DLC, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being an example of a game that got a lot of love with extra content, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe being an example of the opposite. Mario Party Superstars should strive to be in the middle. While it is impossible for the game to excite fans beyond what they initially expected as Smash can, it would be a waste for Nintendo to leave the game alone altogether....

Nintendo placing Mario and his friends in different sports titles is practically a tradition at this point, going as far back as the Nintendo 64. Many of these games feature an insane amount of variety and creativity that engage hardcore fans, even when it comes to gamers that have never picked up a sports game before. In recent years however, Nintendo seems to have taken a slight step back when it comes to Mario sports, focusing specifically on Mario Tennis and Mario Golf....
