During Facebook’s latest quarterly investor call, CEO Zuckerberg labeled Apple “one of [Facebook’s] biggest competitors.” The comments, reported by 9to5Mac, relate to Apple’s new privacy protection measures—including an App Tracking Transparency feature that clues users in on which apps are tracking them. A spokesperson for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing confirmed to Newsweek that four Marines were involved in an incident that occurred at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday. The confirmation comes shortly after the four individuals were arrested by officials with the San Diego Police Department. The four suspects were aboard the Skyfari gondola ride at the San Diego Zoo and as a prank, began to “recklessly” rock the ride back and forth, a spokesperson for the San Diego Zoo said in a statement sent to Newsweek....

Ubisoft’s sequel to the 2017 strategy game will see plenty of departures from Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Sparks of Hope is confirmed to be dropping the grid-based style of the first game in favor of more free-roam strategy combat as well as taking place outside the Mushroom Kingdom. New information from Ubisoft since Sparks of Hope’s announcement has also revealed the sequel sports a significantly larger development team than the original....

Prior to launch, Ubisoft teased the addition of DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, by announcing the Gold Edition version of the game. Alongside the game, players who pick up the Gold Edition of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope would get access to the season pass. While the specific content inside the Gold Edition remained a mystery, Ubisoft did tease the inclusion of the limbless hero Rayman during the Ubisoft Forward 2022 digital showcase....

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe introduced a handful of new features to the franchise, but there is still room for the next Mario Kart to spice things up. While there are any number of directions a Mario Kart 9 could go in, it could also harken back to one of the most innovative mechanics in Mario Kart history. Introduced in 2003’s Mario Kart: Double Dash, players could race with two characters in one kart, which brought in a lot of exciting gameplay opportunities that haven’t been returned to since....

Mario Kart Tour has gained much popularity since its initial release on iOS and Android devices, releasing several waves of cosmetics for different characters playable within the game. One such playable character is the Mii. Being able to change the appearance of their Mii at their leisure led many players to also want to change their Racing Suit, which Mario Kart Tour enables through many Mii-only Racing Suits. Mario Kart Tour continues to surprise players with new content, and a recent tweet from the game’s Twitter account shows players that the 24th wave of Mii Racing Suits will release soon....

While Mario Party Superstars is not the first installment in the series to take this approach, since The Top 100 did a similar thing with just Mario Party minigames. Older fans of the franchise have fond memories of the original Mario Party games, and many point to the N64 and GameCube releases as some of the best in the series. The update of older boards for use in a new Mario Party title will likely go over well for anyone that picks up the game, but some added features makes Mario Party Superstars stand out from its predecessors....

Appropriately titled “5 Sports in 1!”, the new video takes a slightly silly approach to showing players what Mario Sports Superstars is all about. With sports commentary that’s, admittedly, a bit goofy – the voice-over actor stretching out the “goal” announcement to an exaggerated extreme – a slow-motion replay of Princess Peach’s “major league hair flip,” and the dig at always-in-second-place Luigi, it seems the Super Mario Bros. universe will continue to bring the fun with Mario Sports Superstars....

Speaking at the America First Rally in Florida, Greene told a conservative crowd that Ocasio-Cortez has accepted her challenge to debate the Green New Deal in the lower chamber. “We’re going to schedule it very soon and she better show up and I’ll spend the entire time telling the American people exactly what her Green New Deal is all about,” she said. Greene also recounted their confrontation in Congress, which she claims led to Ocasio-Cortez agreeing to the upcoming debate....

On Wednesday evening, Greene took to her Twitter account to share a Wall Street Journal article reflecting on the increasing tension between the U.S. and Russia following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. She also warned that she believed the U.S. could be dragged into a conflict with Russia if things continued as they are. “The American people do not want war with Russia, but NATO and our own foolish leaders are dragging us into one,” she tweeted alongside the article....

Crimo had posted a series of disturbing videos on the internet, and his online profiles were removed following the July 4 shooting. Greene criticized that move, arguing the best way to prevent a mass shooting is to understand the “dark and destructive path” that a suspect takes in life. Greene used the series of tweets to call into question Crimo’s mental state and his potential use of drugs. She also posted a photo that showed Crimo holding a Bible in what appeared to be a jail cell....
