Meanwhile, the popular mobile game Mario Kart Tour is finally getting a multiplayer feature. The mobile game released to smartphones last September and marks the first time a Mario Kart title is released outside of a Nintendo console. Of course, the game is meant to bring the Mario Kart experience to mobile phones, but some players were unhappy with the lack of multiplayer.
Luckily, the feature has been added to the game with yesterday’s big update. The latest multiplayer feature will three modes, local, standard, and gold. The local races will allow players to race with people nearby, while standard races will let players compete online. Both the local and standard races are available for free. However, gold races are only accessible to players who will subscribe for a monthly fee of $4.49.
